Plush Toys and Removable Accessories

There are a lot of possible accessories for your plush toys. When I say a lot, I mean A LOT! You can put miniature human accessories on your toy such as cute hat or a trendy jacket. You can even put sunglasses on.

But it's now becoming more and more popular to include removable accessories as well. You're basically using the Barbie Doll's tried and tested formula of accessorizing. When you include removable accessories, versatility is added to your plush toys. They also give you the option to do follow-up sales. This is helpful if you have a stuffed toy for sale that is patterned after a very popular character. You can release accessories all year long and that would mean profit all year long.

But there is a valid concern if you want to add removable accessories to your toys - the issue of cost. It's important to note that you will spend more in order to accommodate the removable accessories. This is why there are some toy inventors who prefer to have them attached. A common added cost is the addition of Velcro which will attach the accessories to the plush toy. Aside from Velcro, you can also use buttons or zippers.

More and more people are disregarding the added cost since they realize it is worth it. As I've said, it gives the toy versatility and also creates opportunities for you to earn more in the future. Here are some other reasons that may help convince you to add removable accessories to your toys:

1. It gives you a new batch of customers. You're basically marketing your plush toy to a new market. This new market is people who love accessorizing. They are usually the creative ones that easily gets bored with toys that they can't do anything with.

2. It adds value to the plush toys. A simple sales message of, "Customize it!" adds great value to the toy. It makes your plush doll look more expensive so you can price it higher. If you were concerned with the added cost, this can handle that concern.

There are a lot of options for removable accessories. As I've said, you can use removable clothing and you can also add accessories based on the toys. For example, you can add a milk bottle, rattle or stroller for those patterned after babies. You can also make bones or a leash for a stuffed dog. The possibilities are indeed endless.

A reliable manufacturer would be able to tell you what works and what doesn't. They will also be able to help you minimize the additional cost because they have the technology and knowledge to make them efficiently. There are a lot of possible ideas for accessories; it's just a matter of finding the best one.
